"The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep."

Three little artists and how they grew...

My parents gave the girls this fabulous drawing board for Christmas -- it's a chalkboard on one side, and a whiteboard on the other. Complete with dry erase markers, chalk, and erasers for both, it has been so much fun for the girls in these winter months! It seems like every time I pass by, there is a new adorable picture looking back at me. I've managed to grab a couple snapshots of the girls with their creations, and Ashley asked this morning if she could look through the pictures...after which she announced, "Mummy, I think you should put these pictures online, because they're really good and people would probably like to look at them!" So it shall be done. ;-)

Ashley hugged this picture because, as she told me, this is a drawing of a new friend whom she hasn't met yet but already loves.

See that tiny round thing on the top of his head? That's a hat. Most of Hannah's people wear tiny round hats.

Hannah drew this one, too, and....um....that is NOT a pipe in the guy's mouth. She says it's a tongue. Even though, you know, it looks totally like a pipe. *ahem*

This is me and Lamont. I am the huge one. How very........flattering.

That is a giant flower standing outside the front door. I do believe it's about to knock.

Hannah had to wear  a princess dress to draw this impressive scene because she's cool like that. I drew the Christmas tree because...well, yeah. I am that cool too.
